So, I thought that it was about time that I let you all know what the hell is going on at BSB!

As you can see, most of the re-design is up and running - we're just waiting for lovely Claire to get around her technology problems in order to scan in our AWESOME new logo, before we go full-steam ahead!

We've got a truly sparkling line-up of contributors and columnists coming up, for you all, too -

• Jo Anna Yada of www.craftingforcheapskates.blogpsot.com will be doing a monthly fashion-crafts column!
• Claire, our lovely illustrator, at www.illustratorclaire.com is going to be looking at the history of British fashion and some very exciting characters from it every two weeks
• My best friend Sarah, www.ladyscarlett.onsugar.com, who spends literally her whole life looking at "pretty clothes" will be talking fashion on a student budget, and just about anything else that comes into her head, on a semi-regular basis
• And the lovely Florrie of www.intrinsicallyflorrie.blogspot.com will be doing a column in her wonderful way every week or two weeks, too!

On top of that, I'm going to do weekly updates on blogs, fashion, events, and... well, anything else really!

Oh, and we've also roped in the girls of www.hifashionsl.blogspot.com, to write guest posts!

The short answer: A lot.

The long answer:

Well...

I realised a while back that I wasn't happy with British Style Bloggers the way that it was, and I didn't want it to get forgotten about, or to go to waste, because of that. I still think that it's a really good idea, and that British Style Bloggers need to have a place to congregate - and that this may well be the place...

So I decided to do something about it.

I set up the BSB Survey to help me work out what to do, to change things, and I think that it's helped me a lot.

So, this is what's going to happen...

• We're completely re-designing. I like what we have here, but it's a bit childish and gawdy... I chose the colours because (duh) of the Union Jack, but I think they look a bit... tacky as they are. The new home page is going to look like this:
  
  



and it's going to come into effect pretty soon. I want to launch the whole new look together, though, so I'm a-waitin' for that!

• We're also getting a new logo, designed especially for us by the wonderful Claire Napier. She's sketched a draft for me, and I adore it, so I can't wait to see the finished product! The Blog of the Month badge, which Florrie is still waiting for, is going to be an adapted version of the logo, too, for cohesion.
• I'm going to try to set a monthly/weekly schedule for the site, so that I can run it as a side-line to all of my school work... it's getting tough, but I want it to work, so I am going to do my best to make it happen! I'll let you know about that as soon as possible! (Florrie's winning post still isn't up, for example...)
• I'm looking for people to help me run the site, though... If you fancy being a regular contributor, or think you can write a monthly fashion low-down, or even if you just have a guest post which you think could be fabulous, I'd love to hear from you! Click "Get Involved" at the top!
• I'm looking for Sponsers and Affiliates - I'll let you know about that as soon as I have worked out how this will work!
• The Mailing List is going to become important. Please please please please please please please remember to re-sign-up!

And... phew! I think that's about it!
